In 2008, the Design Research Network hosted a conference by the name of Questions & Hypotheses, aimed at students and doctoral candidates at the beginning of their research career. At the conference, they presented their research and, in the following Q&A, received feedback from experienced design researchers. The book combines each participant’s original abstracts, as well as the feedback and commentaries, and follows up with the final research paper that was submitted after the conference.
